NAFEN has so far organized following International Conferences & Exhibitions on various areas of societal interest:-

  • 1987 -Comptech - 90s -"Information Technology for High Quality of Life" inaugurated by Shri Vasant Sathe, Hon'ble Minister of Energy, Govt. of India.
  • 1988 - Commex - 2000 - on Telecommunication inaugurated by Dr. S.D. Sharma, Hon'ble Vice President of India.
  • 1989 - Qtech - 1989 - Rural Technology - inaugurated by Dr. Sam Pitroda, Adviser to the Prime Minister of India on Technology Missions.
  • 1990 - Electromation 90 - Electronic Automation and Computer Graphics jointly organized with Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, inaugurated by Mr. Homi J.H.Taleyarkhan, Hon'ble Member, Minorities Commission, Govt. of India.
  • 1991 - 5th International Conference and Exhibition entitled Target-2000. The main theme was Technologies of the next Decade in key sector areas jointly organized with Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, inaugurated by Shri Sharad Pawar, Hon'ble Raksha Mantri, Govt. of India.
  • 1992 - 6th International Conference & Exhibition entitled "ENVIRO-2000". The main theme was Engineering & Environment Development, inaugurated by Shri K.C. Pant, Chairman, Finance Commission, Govt. of India.
  • 1993 - 7th International Conference and Exhibition on Informatics, Communication & Economic Development entitled "ITV-2000" held on 23-25th November, 1993, inaugurated by Shri P.R. Kumaramangalam, Hon'ble Minister for Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
  • 1994 - 8th International Conference and Exhibition on Emerging Energy Sources for Economic Development entitled IEC-2000 held on 29-30th November, 1994 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri S. Krishna Kumar, Hon'ble Minister for Non Conventional Energy Sources, Govt. of India.
  • 1995 - 9th International Conference and Exhibition on Electronics - Catalyst of Economic Development entitled "World Electronics Summit-2000" held on 27-28th November, 1995 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Dr. S.Z. Qasim, Member, Planning Commission, Govt. of India.
  • 1996 - 10th International Conference and Exhibition on Renewable Energy Sources-2000 with the main theme "Emerging Sources of Renewable Energy for Economic Development" held on 15-17th December, 1996 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri Ashok Parthasarathi, Secretary, Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources, Govt. of India.
  • 1997 - 11th International Conference & Exhibition on ENVIRONMENT - 21st Century with main theme "Sustainable Development - Agenda 21" hold on 16-17th December, 1997 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri Sahib Singh, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Delhi.
  • 1998- XIIth International Congress & Exhibition on R&D with the main theme "R&D Vision-21st Century" hold on 15-16th January, 1999 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon'ble Member Parliament & Former Finance Minister, Govt. of India.
  • 1999 - on "Indian Infrastructure" with the main theme "Opportunities & Financing in next Millennium" held on18-19th November, 1999 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon'ble Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India.
  • 2000 - XIVth International Conference & Exhibition on INFRATECH-2000 with the main theme "Technology Innovations and Financing Opportunities in Infrastructure Industries with the special emphasis on R&D and Export Potential" held on 5-6 December, 2000 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon'ble Minister for Power, Govt. of India. The Conference was supported by Ministry of Science & Technology (DSIR, DST); Ministry of Information Technology, GOI, ASSOCHAM and The Third World Academy of Sciences, Italy.
  • 2001 - XVth International Conference & Exhibition on INFRACON-2002 with the main theme "Convergence & Integration of Indian Infrastructure for Financing Opportunities held on 10-11 January, 2002 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri I.K. Gujral, Former Prime Minister of India. The Conference was supported by Ministry of Science & Technology (DSIR, DST); Ministry of Information Technology, GOI, and The Third World Academy of Sciences, Italy.

Global Corporate Conventions (GCC)

  • Global Corporate Convention (GCC-2000) with the main theme "Role of CEO's for Making Success of their Organisations for the Development of Indian Economy" on 1st September, 2000 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Dr. K.C. Pant, Honble Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Govt. of India.
  • Global Corporate Convention (GCC-2001) with the main theme "Strategic Value Creation" on 7-8 June, 2001 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri N. Vittal, CVC, Central Vigilance Commission, Govt. of India.
  • An International Conference on Banking & Insurance with the main theme "Policies & Reforms for the development of Banking & Insurance Sector in India" on 5-6 July, 2001 at New Delhi, inaugurated by Shri I.K. Gujral, Former Prime Minister of India.
  • Global Corporate Convention (GCC-2002) with the main theme "Corporate Strategies Towards Enhancing Share & Stake Holders Value" to be held on 17-18 September, 2002 at New Delhi. Inaugurated by Shri Ved Prakash Goyal, Hon'ble Union Minister of Shipping, GoI and Presided by Shri G.N. Ramachandran, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Finance, Government of India.
  • National Foundation of Indian Engineers (NAFEN) in association with PriceWaterhouse Coppers, hosted the International Conference on Strategic Value Creation for Corporates- SVC2 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi from 29th- 31st July 2003. The 3 day conference aimed at dealing with the emerging scenario and the impact of new trends on the various facets of business. Dr. Sahib Singh Verma, Hon'ble Minister for Labour - Government of India and Mr. Subodh Mohite, Hon'ble Minister for Heavy Industries & Public Sector Enterprise, Government of India inaugurated the Conference.
  • National Foundation of Indian Engineers (NAFEN) hosted the International Conference on Wealth Creation for Corporates (WCC-2004) with the main theme "Optimising Resources for Enhancing Competitiveness" at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi from 30th November - 2nd December, 2004. This 3 days international conference was organised with the support from Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) and the ATKERNEY was the Knowledge Partner. Hon'ble Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar inaugurated the Conference.
  • National Foundation of Indian Engineers (NAFEN) in association with PriceWaterhouseCoppers hosted the International Conference on India Inc., Towards Global Benchmarking (IIGB-2005) with the main theme "Road Map for International Competitiveness" at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi from 21-23 June, 2005. This 3 days international conference was inaugurated by Mr. M.V. Rajashekharan, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Planning, Govt. of India & Mr. R. Velu, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Railways, Govt. of India on 21st June, 2005.
  • National Foundation of Indian Engineers (NAFEN) in association with Frost & Sullivan hosted the International Business Summit "India - The Lead Emerging Economy (ITLEE-2006)" with the main theme "Strategies, Tools & Technologies to make India a Global Investment Destination" at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi from January 31st - 2nd February, 2006. This 3 days International Business Summit was inaugurated by Shri Praful Patel, Hon'ble Union Minister of State (IC) Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India & Shri R. Velu, Hon'ble Minister of State, Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India.
